My "wireless" Epson printer came with no printer cable, so I was
surprised to read in the set up instructions that the use of a printer
cable was recommended. Of course they didn't specify the type or model
number of cable, no surprise at this point. After some research on the
internet I was about 73% sure that I knew what cord to order. The cord I
chose was the right one, it works fine, it was inexpensive, and it was
delivered quickly.
